If you’re up to it, then walking is a fantastic way to visit us. We are situated on High Bridge, in-between Newcastle’s historic Grey Street and Bigg Market.

If driving into Newcastle, access to High Bridge Works is through a one-way system. You need to turn off Pilgrim Street onto Shakespeare Street, then turn left to go down the architecturally award-winning and picturesque Grey Street before turning right onto High Bridge. Our nearest parking provision is opposite our front doors, down the alley way to Heywood’s Court car park. The car park is limited to six spaces at a cost of £1.60 per hour (08.00 – 18.00 each day).

Bus – The nearest bus stop to High Bridge Works is the Go North East Q3 bus. With bus stops on nearby Grey Street and New Market Street.

Metro – The nearest Tyne & Wear Metro Station is Monument. The station is fully accessible. Take a short journey down Grey Street and turn right onto High Bridge to find us at High Bridge Works.

Train – We are a short five-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, go up Grainger Street and across Bigg Market onto High Bridge. If you get a bit lost then ask a friendly local.

Cycling is a great way to visit High Bridge Works with dedicated cycle routes within Newcastle city centre and the surrounding areas. Whilst we don’t have any cycle parking provision immediately outside High Bridge Works, you can park up nearby on Grey Street.
