Iche-go Iche-e is a group exhibition by the Tynemouth Photographic Society‘s Urban Group, bringing a wonderful array of photographs to the High Bridge Works Reception.
Rooted in Zen Buddhism and the Japanese Tea ceremony, iche-go iche-e is a philosophy reminding us to cherish the present moment as a unique and unrepeatable experience. Over a nine month period the twelve exhibiting artists each returned to their chosen building or location to capture a new unique moment in the space. Each artist presents four of the images captured during this time-frame as a record of these never to be repeated encounters.
The exhibition runs from July 14th to 30th, with a preview on July 16th, 5-7pm.
