Now That’s What I Call Art

16 December 2021

This exhibition is a collaboration between two North East artist-run projects, System Gallery and Spaghetti Factory, running from Thursday 16th December 2021 until Saturday 15th January 2022.

This is not an ‘open call’ it is an ‘open invitation’. We are keen to see the exhibition transform from an empty white box to a shifting gathering of artworks, ideas and processes. Over December 2021 and January 2022 we invite artists at all stages to display one artwork or set of artworks. There is no selection process and we will support as many artists as we can to exhibit their work, but there may be a cut-off based purely on the space, the number of artists and the time we have available.

To be part of Now That’s What I Call Art 2021 you just need to arrive with the work ready to install and collect it before the exhibition ends. The de-install will happen whilst the exhibition is still open to the public and your work will be collectable after the closing event on 7th January during gallery opening times.

Please note there is no exhibition fee, and this exhibition is run by volunteers.
